Raymond A. Low - A Life Spent Asking Questions
Raymond A. Low is an engineer, U.S. Navy veteran, former attorney, educator, investigator, and author. His working life has moved through electronics, police work, law, prison investigation, special education, construction, and engineering. He holds a master’s degree in engineering and has written technical research on concrete reinforcement.
His interest in breathwork, cold exposure, meditation, and human resilience grew from curiosity and personal experience. In his seventies, he attended three Wim Hof Method seminars and experienced the breathing practices, cold exposure, meditation, and group training firsthand. Those experiences led him to ask more questions, undertake deeper research, and write Iceman’s Legacy.
Why I Wrote This Book
“I wrote Iceman’s Legacy because Wim Hof’s achievements raised a question larger than the man himself: are his abilities unique, or do they reveal capacities others can cultivate? My aim was to follow that question wherever history, physiology, personal experience, and evidence led.”
